During the Spring Festival vacation (January 31st to February 6th), 2022, the tourism businesses under CTG received 1.06 million tourists, reporting an operating revenue of RMB 2.16 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18%. Thanks to the pandemic prevention & control and safety management by CTG enterprises, neither confirmed or asymptomatic COVID-19 case nor operation accident was reported in this period.
During the vacation days, CTG Duty-Free received 590,000 visitors in its online and offline promoting activities, recording a significant year-on-year increase both in the number of visitors and the operating revenue; the number of tourists and the tourism revenue of CTG Travel increased by 38% and 83% respectively year-on-year; CTG Investment witnessed a slight decrease in number of tourists and operating revenue due to the impact of pandemic and continuous rainy days in parts of China; the number of tourist receptions and operating revenue of CTG Hotel increased by 6% and 12% respectively; CTG Tourist Vehicle, a subsidiary of CTG Asset, reports an explosive growth in its business as a service vendor to the Beijing Olympic Winter Games; for CTG Cruises, the "Piano Land" Cruise still stayed in the harbor while the "Hainan Dream" Cruise operated three rounds of trip, receiving 1,162 tourists with an operating revenue of RMB 6.92 million, or an year-on-year increases of 136% and 144% respectively.
