On September 23rd, the General Manager of CTG Wang Haimin called on Paul Chan Mo-po, the Financial Secretary of the HKSAR for exchanges on the development and revitalization of Hong Kong's tourism industry.
Mr. Wang outlined the business development of CTG, stressing CTG’s confidence in the prospect of Hong Kong marked by its positioning strategy of "Based in Hong Kong" for the "14th Five-Year Plan". As a central government-owned enterprise headquartered in Hong Kong, CTG will increase its investment in Hong Kong, added Mr. Wang. He hoped HKSAR government would continuously support the development of CTG in Hong Kong to jointly promote the revitalization of Hong Kong's tourism industry.
Mr. Chan expressed his appreciation to CTG for its long-term contribution to Hong Kong's economic and social development. Facing the impact brought by COVID-19 on the tourism industry, HKSAR government would vigorously support the recovery of tourism industry. He hoped CTG would play to its strength to expand its tourism business in Hong Kong.
