Chairman Wang Haimin Attends Hong Kong Tourism Sector's Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the PRC

Republic of China, Hong Kong's tourism sector held a National Day gala, attended by prominent figures from both the tourism industry and government. CTG Chairman Wang Haimin and Board Member Shi Shanbo joined other distinguished guests, including Mr. Eric Chan Kwok-ki, Acting Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Mr. Wang Songmiao, Secretary General of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Mr. Li Yongsheng, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in the HKSAR, Mr. Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the HKSAR Government, and Legislative Council member Mr. Perry Yiu Pak-leung.



In his speech, Acting Chief Executive Mr. Chan praised Hong Kong's tourism industry for its resilience and vitality, acknowledging the sector's efforts to overcome challenges and rebound strongly. He expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the central government, which has been instrumental in fostering stability and development in Hong Kong. Mr. Chan encouraged the industry to continue its commitment to innovation and resilience, contributing to the city's ongoing growth in tourism.


The gala was organized by the Hong Kong Tourism National Day Celebration Preparatory Committee and hosted by the China Tourism Association in Hong Kong. Over 500 prominent figures from the tourism industry and leaders from business associations attended the event.
