Chen Yin, Chairman of CTG, attended the 19th China-ASEAN Expo upon invitation in Nanning from September 16th to 19th. During his stay in Guangxi, Chairman Chen visited CTG's subsidiaries in Guangxi, including Grand Metro Park Hotel and Detian Waterfall Scenic Area under CTG Investment.
Mr. Chen affirmed Nanning Grand Metro Park Hotel’s commitment in hosting China-ASEAN Expo. He urged Nanning Grand Metro Park Hotel, as a publicity window of CTG brand and a benchmarking hotel for government reception, to maintain cooperative relationship with the Guangxi Autonomous Region Government, while improving the management and service quality. This hotel should stay highlighted at the China-ASEAN summit through our service, he added, regarding it as part of the wider efforts to increase CTG influence and improve the tourism, government, and business reception business in Guangxi.
During his visit at the Guangxi branch of CTG Investment, Mr. Chen was briefed on the progress of projects, and later inspected Chongzuo Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area. He also reviewed the progress and operation of "China-Vietnam Cross-border Street", "An Overlook of Vietnam", "Waterfall Tea-house ", "Coffee Shop by Waterfalls and Rice Field", "Wonder·Night of Detian", and other projects. Mr. Chen praised Detian Scenic Area for its enriched by-products, and its presence as one of most-visited tourist destinations and a model project for central government owned enterprises. He demanded that the team to focus on the strategic planning of Guangxi, while following the requirements of local governments on pandemic prevention and control at the border. He stressed that the scenic area should work with local governments and enterprises to make joint Party building, product promotion, and talent development to keep close ties between the Party, the masses, and the Communist Youth League. Mr. Chen also emphasized operation safety of new secondary consumption projects and gave directions on CTG’s strategic blueprint in Guangxi.
Recognizing Guangxi’s market potential backed by profound tourism resources and regional advantage, Mr. Chen urged CTG subsidiaries in Guangxi to take advantage of Guilin‘s creating of a world-class tourist destination to integrate internal and external resources, and deliver more jobs. We should empower the enterprise development with a boutique strategy, rolling out "small, special and boutique" products for target groups, and spur secondary consumption income, he added, requiring CTG branches to play the role of a state-owned enterprise in maintaining close ties with the masses and helping tourism development in Guangxi to meet the 20th National Congress of CPC with achievements.
