On August 24, Chen Yin, Chairman of CTG, visited the Beijing Branch of CTG, accompanied by leaders from CTG Travel and the Beijing Branch.

At the meeting, the managers of Beijing Branch gave reports on its development course, business transformation, and Party building. The North China Region of CTG Travel reported on the reform plan for regional integration and its preliminary results. Lei Haisu, Chairman of CTG Travel, gave a brief on the recent progress in the reform for integration of CTG Travel businesses and the plan for the future.
Chairman Chen exchanged his views about the role of offline stores, the profit model of B2B business, the design of B2C products, and the financial sharing management model with participants on the meeting, and spoke highly of the efforts of Beijing Branch to reduce losses, roll out innovative products and expand business types on the basis of available resources, given the gloomy business environment caused by Covid impact. He proposed three requirements for the subsequent works in line with the demands and situations in the post-pandemic market: First, CTG Travel must accurately evaluate the post-pandemic demand to seize up opportunities. We should stay confident about a business recovery and make preparations in advance. Second, CTG Travel must push forward the reform for integration, eliminating the bottlenecks in the business development with a full coverage of business and financial control systems throughout the Group. Based on the integration of purchase, business, and financial activities, CTG Travel should implement a multi-brand strategy suitable for real market conditions. The first-line sale terminals should be entitled to supplement and improve the products and resources for actual business needs, keeping a two-way synergy process between the consumer side and resource/product side to realize a CTG-wide business integration. Finally, CTG Travel should seek development by strengthening the Party building. We must focus on basic level party organizations and party members to mobilize all forces within CTG through the party organizations. Outstanding employees should be encouraged to join the party, thus advancing the reform and development by fully leveraging the leading role of Party building. (CTG Travel)
