Jiangxi Xingzi Lushan Xiufeng Peak Chairlift Co., Ltd. was established in 1998 with registered capital of 3.8 million RMB. Xiufeng Peak Chairlift is a joint investment of RMB 10 million by CTG Investment (HK) and Xingzi County Tourism Corporation, accounting for 80% and 20% of the investment respectively.
The construction of the chairlift started on April 12, 1998 and was completed and put into operation on September 26. The monocable ropeway with fixed rope clip and double seat hanging-basket is designed, produced and installed by Sichuan Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. The total length of the ropeway is 1395.88m, covering an elevation difference between the upper and lower terminal of 410.58m. There are 112 double-seat chairs, with the maximum capacity to convey 350 people per hour. A middle station is provided in addition to the start and end station for the convenience of tourists.

Lushan Waterfall

Established in Xiufeng Peak scenic area, this ropeway looks like a green corridor. The bottom station is on the south of Longtan Pond, a symbolic scenic spot with a fantastic view; at the middle station one may stand next to the statue of Li Bai, the great romantic poet in Tang Dynasty, renowned as the "Poet Immortal", and take a close look at the Lushan Waterfall, which is depicted in Li Bai’s poem "Flying waters descending straight three thousand feet, Till I think the Milky Way has tumbled from the ninth height of Heaven."
The upper stop is near Huangyan National Forest Park, where you can explore the source of waterfall and Huangyan Temple, search for the Lamp Lighting Terrace, visit the Manjusri Pagoda to worship the Bodhisattva.
On the lifting chair, one can have a bird view of the idyllic landscape enjoyed by Tao Yuanming, the first great poet of Tianyuan style ("fields and gardens") in the Eastern Jin, and appreciate the charming picture where boats sail on the rippling water of Poyang Lake.
You can also have a close view of other peaks: Crane, Shuanjian (double sword), Xianglu (incense burner) and Manjusri Peak.
