Recently, the Leading Group for Central Rural Work released the assessment results of the 2025 performance evaluation on targeted assistance by central entities. CTG was awarded the highest rating of “Excellent”. Since the launch of this assessment in 2017, CTG has maintained this top rating for nine consecutive years.
In 2025, CTG thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and instructions on agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and faithfully carried out the major decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the rural revitalization strategy. Wang Haimin, Chairman of the Group, conducted research in Liping County, retraced General Secretary Xi Jinping’s inspection route, convened a promotion meeting for the Group’s assistance work, and fully deployed initiatives to advance rural revitalization.
Throughout the year, CTG allocated RMB 38.8 million in unconditional assistance funds to five designated counties: Liping County in Guizhou Province, and Shangri-La City, Deqin County, Menglian County and Ximeng County in Yunnan Province. Leveraging its core strength in tourism, CTG rolled out 54 assistance projects to empower local development with precision, yielding sound economic and social benefits. The “Harmonious Rural Path” platform, jointly developed with China Mobile, went live to further empower the development of beautiful countryside and contribute to solid progress in comprehensive rural revitalization. Huanggang Village in Liping County, supported by the Group, was named one of the “Best Tourism Villages” by UN Tourism. The Group’s assistance cases were selected as typical cases of targeted assistance by central entities and responsibility practice cases in the “Blue Book on Social Responsibility of Central Enterprises (2025)”. Its industrial assistance project was included as a featured brand in the “Report on Central Enterprises’ Brands for Boosting Rural Industrial Revitalization”.
