Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Limited

In 1999, Shun Tak merged its shipping operation with that of China Travel International Investment (Hong Kong) Co., LTD to create a combined entity under the brand name "TurboJET". TurboJET develops a high-speed passenger transportation network linking major destinations within the Pearl River Delta ("PRD"), such as Hong Kong, Macau, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, offering passengers speedy, reliable and comfortable sea travel services.

Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Limited is one of the largest high-speed ferry operators in Asia with over 2,200 employees, as well as the only one that provides 24-hour high-speed ferry services between Hong Kong and Macau. It has taken a leading position in the Hong Kong-Macau route for over 5 decades, with traffic over 10 million passengers annually. It acquired New World First Ferry Services (Macau) Limited in 2011, further enhancing the overall connectivity within the PRD Region with better deployed resources.

TurboJET is unequivocally the strongest high-speed vessel fleet within Asia. All vessels and engines used are masterworks from prestigious ship builders, guaranteeing the highest level of reliability and performance. The Company has built its own shipyard in Hong Kong, with a team of over 400 professional engineers and technicians upkeeping its service pledge with maintenance, upgrade and refurbishments as well as active research and development.

Since its launch, TurboJET has been a staunch advocate in improvements through innovation, and has never ceased to bring forth new dimensions to the passenger shipping business. In 2003, TurboJET successfully premiered the "Airport Routes" and developed SkyPier, in cooperation with the Hong Kong International Airport. TurboJET Airport Routes are providing an important link between the major international airports in Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen; Through SkyPier, international passengers can transfer to their destinations without transit and baggage claim. TurboJET Airport Routes, with a seamless air-sea inter-modal system, welcome the world with an effective commuting platform within the Pearl River Delta.

TurboJET has over 500 ticketing outlets in Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, and overseas cities including those in Southeast Asia. Tickets can be booked at the ticket offices, self-service ticketing kiosks at ferry terminals or through designated travel agencies, and online and mobile app booking systems are also provided so reservation can be done anytime, anywhere.

TurboJET continues to improve and provide passengers with new and quality services including online booking services, multi-purpose stored value card, luggage porter and check-in services, as well as one-stop service for cross-border upstream check-in, etc. In 2009, it launched Premier Jetfoil with exclusive Premier Grand Class service, which provides passengers with luxurious services of superb quality comparable to those of a five-star hotel.

At present, TurboJET manages ferry services at three key cross-boundary ferry terminals in the PRD region, namely SkyPier (Hong Kong), Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and Shenzhen Airport Fu Yong Ferry Terminal. In the future, TurboJET will continue to strengthen the transport connectivity in the PRD region, and explore new potential routes to further expand the market in both the hinterland and periphery of the PRD region to provide service to more customers.
