To provide an sound services to national Covid experts visiting Hong Kong, Shi Shanbo, the Deputy General Manager of the Group, came to Kimberley Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui with his entourages in the afternoon of March 6 to visit the special team of Hong Kong China Travel Service providing hotel services for the experts from Mainland China. He also inspected the Covid prevention and control performed by the special team.
Mr. Shi said it is an honor to host the expert team, urging the special team to perform their duties with professionalism and devotion during the experts' stay in Hong Kong. He asked the special team to put the medical prevention and control measures in the first place to ensure the health and safety of both the guests and the hotel staff. The Group would offer necessary support at any time.
In his next step, Mr. Shi came to the Group's Metropark Hotel Kowloon to inspect the preparation to transform the hotel to a quarantine complex, with the patients expected to arrive on March 7. Mr. Shi checked the quarantine room layout, disinfection equipment, quarantine meal preparation, the access to the non-infected areas, office environment for the on-site staff, and gave his specific instructions.
Mr. Shi expressed his gratitude, on behalf of the Group, to the staff of the Metropark Hotel Kowloon to undertake the hotel services for the nucleic acid test team from the mainland in 2020. He called for everyone to take self-protection measures above all to avoid infection at work and urged the staff to carry forward the traditions of CTG, fully demonstrating the social responsibility of CTG staff to provide professional services for the guests' quarantine stay.（Group Community Department）
